Santa Ponsa, Mallorca - offshore fishing

Hi Folks - anyone out there with knowledge of offshore fishing marks out of Santa Pomsa? I’ve hired a boat for three days. I know the East coast is better but we’re out with friends so just looking to sneak in some fishing. Will be using a bird and lure on one rod and rapala magnum 30 on the other. All 30-50 lb stand up hear. Any tips out there? Thanks Alex

Lots of very big tuna being caught here , I have a home a few miles around the coast line from Santa Ponsa , you also have some great hunting behind you in the mountains for the Balearic BOC ,

Big (good big) curve ball with Boc. Might not be able to take the rifle this trip but awesome info for next time.

@Ijs - a pal of mine said head for water that’s 500 to 1,000 meters deep. Our boat is in Port Adriano my plan was to take a ‘SW’ heading and once at 500 meters start trolling.

Any thoughts to sharpen this up or does that sound about right?
