Coffee of choice at home is ?
Mine is Moccona in 400 G jars for $20 (pom tenner) Your D/Egberts`s I believe.
As a bonus in todays throwaway society all empty jars are utilised for foodstuffs IE flour,sugar,rice,pasta and whatever else needs to be kept from ants, mice, rats or antechinus's in the pantry. Much better than Tupperware for storage etc.
I shudder when out visiting and have to drink Nescafe powered with ground peanut shells. Or worse International Roast,I doubt that its even coffee.
I do like the Italian "cafeteria" the hourglass coffee burblers method but spooning granules is quicker. Tried one of those 'capsule' machines, made one capsule and promptly gave the machine to a SIL.

Tea? Zhengshan xiaozhong is a good smoky one but haven't had it for years.

Good choices there.

If there are no beans about and nothing special from boujee online orders then a bag of Rich Italian by Taylors is my go to.
 
Aldi No.4 roast whole bean, home ground and filtered in a V60 dripper, knocks spots off the coffee made in our jura bean to cup machine. You're right about nescafé it's pants.
Yorkshire tea builders strength.

I detest Nescafe. It's utter horse **** (it was what was in our MRE's...yuck). I remember it was the norm in the UK when I was living there at the time. I ended up buying a coffee maker, a power converter, and driving an hour to the nearest US base commissary to get plain old Folgers coffee grounds. My UK co-workers thought that it was freaking awesome to have "real" coffee, and it wasn't long before the folks in the adjoining building (Tornado Maintenance School) were knocking on the door to access our small T-Bar. Technically I wasn't supposed to buy from the US base and use it on a UK base (something about taking away from the NAAFI or some nonsense), but I needed real coffee and didn't mind buying extra for everyone.

To be fair, nowadays I still don't drink instant coffee, but have had to a few times and I have to say.... Starbuck's instant coffee brand is not bad at all. Still not the same as real, but damned close.

My best mates Mum used to buy the Camp stuff, all they could afford at the time, my mum said it was introduced during the war when Coffee was far from an important item.
 
A nice mix of medium roast of Robusta and Arabica beans, gound fresh and brewed fresh via a filter drip and consumed black with all the flavours. Refused to touch instant coffee as it doesn't suit my taste buds.
 
I use one of these. Put the wand straight into the milk bottle, cup underneath, press button and hey-presto, cappuccino on tap :tiphat:

Got hooked on Bean-to-Cup machines decades ago and ran a "grandfather's axe" set of 3 Saeco Incanto machines for many years - wife had enough of their temperamentality during the first COVID lockdown so this was purchased on offer which, with blue light discount, meant it was half price. Three years on, we are over 3000 cups in - wife invariably has 3 x double espresso and myself at least 2 or cappuccinos in the morning and frankly we could not live without it :drool:

Holds enough beans/water for 12 or so cups so its fast, easy and an absolute life-saver🥰
 
I suppose I have a bit of coffee gear...

Non-espressso brewing:
Mostly Aeropress and V60s, Moccamaster if there's a crowd, vac pot for an occasional change of pace.

Current espresso machines:
Alex Duetto II
Rocket R58
Synesso

Grinders:
Macap M7D (68 mm conical)
Compak E8 (83 mm flat)
Mazzer Mini-E (64 mm flat, SJ burr upgrade)
Various manual mills (MbK Aerspeed and Lido 3 are the favourites)

I'll roast my own beans when there's time and inclination, but mostly I just buy fresh from pro roasteries. Doing it yourself isn't too difficult, though.

That was my Dad's favourite , used to drink it when I was young with lots of sugar, now that I don't take sugar not so keen these days my coffee of choice these days is a good strong
Americano no milk or sugar but.I have to limit myself supposed to avoid caffeine for health reasons so my everyday drink is Nescafe decaff.
Don't drink much tea but find it a good thirst
Quencher on a hot day.
Beer is better but I'm supposed to limit that also.
Life's a bitch.
 
Some might class me as the great unwashed (but then again I do shoot a Swede and air rifles in .20 😉)
Tetley tea during the day and Earl Gray for supper.
Nescafe Azera Americano for coffee - ordinary Nescafé is 💩
 
Bean to cup Delonghi flat white, struggle with instant these days.
Costco beans, the darker the better mixed 50/50 with a mild/mid bean from a supermarket.

Earl Grey tea, loadsa milk works too.
