Update: Just had a service and new front pads. Faulty alternator also replaced. No engine management light present.

2007 (Mk6) Toyota Hilux3.0L Automatic. 138,000 (still in use). Some cosmetic stuff as expected for age, but otherwise in fantastic condition (inc. chassis). Serviced and looked after. Daily use for last 4 years and no issues other than cracked alternator housing. Alternator replaced, now occasionally EML shows and throws up alternator code since replacement (runs fine). Bank transfer at collection.

Truck near Maldon Essex.

Sorry to jump on this but what do you pay road tax on a 3ltr Hilux? I want to upgrade from my RAV4 to a Hilux or similar, but don't want to end up paying £600+ in tax.

Thank you, I pay £276 for my RAV4 so that's not too bad at all. I looked at buying my mates Ssang Yong Kyron 2.7ltr and it was over £600 a year!

I definitely need something bigger though, we've had guys in cutting down all the ash trees with ash die back and the track are terrible now. My Ravs ok but doesn't have the clearance to deal with the rutts.

My jimny would have been fine but it's too small to get the kids and dogs in.
