Honestly have had a play with them and for £125.00 you can’t go wrong lifetime warranty, decent image don’t get me wrong they are nothing amazing but they are £125.00 so in that bracket they are as good as it gets.
I leave them in the car don’t have to worry as much about losing them or getting stolen like my other gear thermal etc.

I got a set of these as soon as they came out, literally the bargain of the century. Well built, robust, quality glass and chest mount bag with additional strap is a bonus. I really can’t rate them high enough, obviously there no £3000 pair of Swarovski,s but there certainly isn’t £2850 worth of difference

I had a look through nearly the whole range of Vortex yesterday in multiple power and objective configurations. Triumph, Crossfire, Diamondback, Viper, Razor and Fury. It will probably come as little surprise that the most expensive offering were the best, however the Diamondbacks were a real surprise. So much so that I'm going to get a smaller pair for the car. The Triumphs were ok as stated above by Toby, but not a patch on the Diamondbacks clarity in my opinion. Therefore, honestly, it's worth the extra £100 for some Diamondbacks I believe. However, at £125, you are still getting decent enough quality.

I have personally owned multiple top end optics in Swarovski EL Range, SLC and the newer type Zeiss RFs. Having seen what I seen yesterday, if I was to start over again, I would probably go Vortex Razor and a RF hand held... or would I go Fury? I'm actually not sure. They were so good too. The Furys are a little heavy. So, you ask why? Well, the bloke handed me a molten block of Magnesium from a car fire and the binos had been replaced on that alone.

I have personally had bad experiences with Swarovski warranty in the past and I have heard Zeiss are terrible, not that I have used them in fairness... fingers crossed.

The Vortex Warranty is the deal maker for me. It still baffles me how they make money on a lifetime warranty on a £125 bino!

I can't see how they could either. I can say that, like you, a fab warranty that they stand behind is one of the reasons I started buying Vortex scopes, and moving up the range.

The transferable warranty also means that the stuff holds a good percentage of its value, as people are not afraid of a used purchase, so you recover more of the price you paid, which is more towards the next purchase.

So while need to keep warranty claims down, by building great products, it is capturing loyal customers that is the real art.
