Hello all, sadly the skills tests has taken its toll again this year. I have two places available from now, Dec 23 until 31st Oct 2024.
The details are unchanged, as below apart from price lowered (pro rata) what I would ask is this:
Please do not mess me around, this is terrific piece of FE ground and a very transparent syndicate, if you are interested then great, attend to the Skills Test and sort your admin out, then have the opportunity for some great Roe stalking.....
To refresh you MUST have.
DSC 1 and 2.
FAC Deer legal calibre WITH Sound Moderator.
EFAW+F.
Insurance.
Must attend Kielder and pass DSC 1 skills test run by FE Ranger Staff.
Excellent Deer stalking syndicate opportunity.
I hold the Deer Control Licence from Forestry England for two areas of land at Spadeadam, north east of Carlisle. The licence covers two separate areas totalling 3500 acres of land, commercial forestry owned and managed by Forestry (Commission) England with some excellent Roe stalking opportunities. This is our 3rd year of 5 and there have been, as last year, some changes in membership with some spaces now offered to the SD community.
The Team is a syndicate of 14 people in total including myself.
No restriction on number of visits. (within reason!)
Expectation members will cull 10 Roe deer each.
Based on cull target requirements supplied by FE, total of 120 Roe deer to be culled, resulting deer carcasses to be retained by each member.
12 month membership starting 1st Nov 2023 – 31st Oct 2024.
All admin and all FE contact through me, each member would agree to participate in WhatsApp group and all planned visits are posted on a shared Google calendar for total transparency across the syndicate.
Cost is: £1195 payable after passing the skills test, by bank transfer.
Formal Deer Controller/ Syndicate member agreement to be signed.
This is FE land and so Governance is key, anyone interested MUST hold:
Please send me a PM private message if you are interested and I'll pass my mobile number, I am looking for the right people not necessarily the first to respond.
Thanks for viewing.
