Wanted: *KH* Switch barrel rifle with 22Hornet and 270

As it says, with me reducing all my kit and kabudal I would like to end my days with one UK rifle " A switch Barrel in 22Hornet/270 " but don't know whats available

INTERESTED AS TO THE SD THOUGHTS

blaser do both, but I had to wait 61/2 months for my 22 hornet in standard barrel profile
you could have 1 stock and iron work and just change the bolt heads, mag and barrel
The hornet bolt head is a new model K head which you can get with barrel and mag or as a complete or vise versa
mine shoot faultlessly and very very accurate

Strasser is another switch barrel jobbie, but Im not sure I would want one of those.
thinking about it there was another on from the Blaser group that was a switch, can’t remember which one, and of course it will be a premium price.

That said. I don’t know about the others but Blaser if you selected a 243/308 then the bolt is the same size so you just need to change the barrel. The bolt stays the same.

I know you are not keen on Blaser but one of the things I like is that the scope is on the barrel so no issues about losing zero.

Thanks, nine years ago I had one in my hand not realising the rarity I recall something different with the mag? Was it not a dummy making the rifle single shot?

not aware of a single shot i’ve got the R8 pro success model, i’m not sure if they done the hornet in R93

How many rounds in your mag

My r8 pro success has 5 in the mag in 223 and 4 in the mag for 243 and 6.5.

I carry 2 trigger units with 3 in each ( 1 for the shot 1 for a follow up if required and one for just in Casey and swap over in seconds and top up as you can with always 3 in the mag in the rifle
