How many get swept by a shot gun or low shots towards the beaters during the season despite been given a briefing on every shoot they attend.

Yes it was daft as I watched it last night, charity clay shoots rate high on my list as you get the once a year gang turn up and load their very shiny shot guns out the cage and then step in.

Stupid! I have mentioned his frequently used zeroing “range” before - a lane which runs alongside a barn then turns round the back of it leaving a blind corner for anyone to walk/drive round into the line of fire - double stupid!
Finally, no backstop other than thin trees to catch the round as it ricochets off the lane……

AH!, I was in the right place / channel ... the guy who trusts his mate implicitly obviously forgot about "The chunk of flesh" he saw flying off into the background in the earlier shot .... what he fails to understand is, that "Chunk of flesh" is actually the Chunk of flesh being carried away by either the bullet, or what remains of the bullet.

Even assuming the rifle wasn’t pointing directly at the house, I would not be taking the shot.

Yon foxing pair should take a look in here to check out what the odd bullet can do after the initial strike.
Round about 40+ minutes is a good example.
