No Tick Repellent

Don't get that shite on your open skin, its not good for you make sure you read the label

Best to just be careful and check thoroughly, spray your boots and gaiters and thats as far as I go, that really helps in high yield tick areas

I don't take my teckles to some areas now from April to November due to the high activity, not worth getting them smothered in ticks

For skin, I use Lifesystems with DEET, never been bitten. Always have it on underneath tucked in clothing. Arms, legs, stomach, neck and lower back. A little goes a long way and lasts a long time. It's a bite inhibitor as well as a repellent and wards off all nasty insects.

ne I use, same strength as saw
I use it and so do several buddies, no issue at all. Always best to just treat the top layer of clothes anyway to avoid skin contact but I use a treated shirt and trousers with no issues.

Some people will react unfortunately but most don’t, rovince clothing is treated with permethrin and plenty of people wear that with no issues.
I'll give it a go then, my skin isn't usually overly sensitive to stuff so hopefully be fine. Definitely sounds like the best option for outlayers. Thank you for advice

I was using 100% deet wheb I contracted lymes from tick bites. Has them on hands and elsewhere

Shocking to hear the deet didn't work for you! Hope it hasn't affected you badly. The 100 mix was replaced by 50 max, which only uses half the amount but locks it into skin better. It also adds the usual eucalyptus type repellent into the mix. Think its been out a while.

sorry to hear that, do you use anything now?
All my clothes are treated with permethrin, as is everything in the truck, roe sack etc. If I take a look at a deer or anything else and find it infested, I use Scabies cream on my hands.

Anyone been using the 'No tick' Wash in repellent this year? Whats everyones thoughts?

Yes used it this year for the first time. Seems good to me. Not found any on me up to now .

I rate it. Definitely fewer/no ticks when wearing trousers washed in it

I use the wash in for all of my clothing and have had no ticks on me since. I also use Lifesystems EX4 on my gaiters and trousers and smidge on my lower arms, waistline, sockline and neckline. Seems a very effective combo.
