Wanted: Long Shot - Sako L461 / A1 synthetic stock

Unlikely to find anything I know, but if anyone has a synthetic stock for the above rifle please let me know.

Try Jackson Rifles for a McMillan, other option is import from Wildcat Composites of Canada, although these come unfinished and some lads have managed to snap theirs in half.

Other option, if you are very handy, is look for a Howa Mini action stock. Doubt action screw spacing is exact but it will be close enough for a person with tinkering abilities!

Thanks Caberslash - I’d looked at Jackson rifles list of stocks, but nothing there. Will call and ask the question though.

I spotted Wildcat composites, and it’s the only new option I could find - may well go down that route but reports of snapping are a concern…

Hadn’t thought about the Howa mini actions - forgot they were based on the Sako action. Might have to see if I can find a cheap stock to have a play with…
