I have just taken delivery of a few Portland120 leather sheaths...

I also have a batch of the P120s under way just now so this thread offers those knives for sale married to the leather sheaths.

The knives are benchmark Portland spec., 3mm stock SF100 blade steel, FFG with micro secondary bevels, stonewashed finish to the steel.

The 120 indicates the blade length of 120mm.

Hunter orange G10 handle scales over this G10 liners, stainless bolts and adhesive secure all together.

Blades are already well on their way, the G10 and sheaths say waiting, delivery will be very soon.

I have around a dozen, three of which are already spoken for.

I am pricing this dozen at £295 each.

The P120 is the longer knife here, sat beside a P90.

I'll get a sheath photo when I get in this morning.

P120 owner with kydex sheath here..

You will not be disappointed.

A true bladesmith
Ditto, been putting mine to good use this last week thanks to @Acm and @Stuart Mitchell, such a nice blade profile for larger deer, but equally nimble in the hand I’d happily use if for smaller species. Perfect for sticking, brilliant for tunnelling and just pretty damn close to perfection for my needs.

Made short work of these two, the test with rutty reds is always the back of the neck when removing the head, always done last (by me at least) as it can totally kill a blade and make the rest of the work challenging, but it was still good to go had I been greedy and had more to do!

I’ve got 3 of Stuart’s knives - and very tempted by the p120…
Sadly can’t justify (to my wife)…. yet… as my current knives are just fantastic.
Anyone dealing with Stuart will be pleasantly surprised. Not only is he a master of his craft, but a professional and a gentleman.

I was about done with custom knife makers until I "chanced" my self one last time with stuart mitchell.
[Should have went to the best first]
Treated myself to a muntjacx...
It was all a knife should be,its now my roe knife , the P120 will do the sika and red deer.

I subsequently sold all my other custom make knives ,some which lost their edge on hair ,and as long as My butt hole points downwards I'll never even try another maker.

I have pushed the button and ordered the above knife.

I’ve often looked at the custom knives available…… most appear to have been made by someone who has never seen a deer or boar let alone had to use a knife on one. I have no need for a blade made from a meteorite or a handle fashioned from some weird snot coloured material in the shape of a pirate’s cutlass !

This knife look’s perfect !!

Mine in its kydex, I added a horizontal carry clip as I preferred that (personal choice) but it’s 100% designed to be used for a job, so easy cleanly and utilitarian is very definitely the order of the day. I may ask Stuart if I can get a leather one for special occasions at some point but for now this is just about bob on.

Got all the scales sat ready for fixing etc but not entirely happy with the blade finish yet, I do like to be entirely happy because if I am, you will be...

I should have the sorted Mon/Tue though 👍
