Found an item ( jacket ) I'm looking at buying but it's at a really really good price
Over £100 cheaper than anywhere else so just trying to find out if their legit or as they say "if its too good to be true then "

I have had a house in Dover for many years (holiday only, before that I used to live in Walmer) I have never heard of them and as their website says no visits and no address is given I would be very careful especially with a product £100 cheaper than elsewhere. Perhaps its a Calais boat person trying it on.

Just my opinion. If they are serious they need to up their game in a world full of scammers and chancers. There was a guy 10+ years ago who lived in Clarendon Street Dover and he had an RFD dealing from home but his name escapes me now.

Try looking them up on the Companies House website.
If they are not a registered company with posted accounts, likely best to steer clear.

There were some scams some time only just past involving Chinese students in the UK setting up bogus websites to sell sporting goods cheap. Maybe as others say try and see if you can make direct contact outwith the internet? Or contact any official UK agency see John Rothery for Lincoln shotguns for example (or the actual manufacturer) for the various makes of guns they sell and see if they have an agency with them?

Thanks for all the reply guys
As said before if its too good to be true then it probably is
Better just sticking to legit shops I've dealt with previously as spending the sort of money we all spend on decent shooting gear it's too much money for me to loose

It says they are open 24/7 But they don’t open until 09.30 and they are closed on Sundays.

As all sales of firearms in the UK must be face to face (and the law is that you the purchaser send you licence to them the seller) maybe express an interest in purchase of such and enquire how they will get it to you? And to what address your licence is to be sent to? That will give an address for you to then ask the police responsible.....Kent Police....for that force area to confirm. That'll flush the fox!

I do note a Google search for Gun Shop Kent brings up this with a picture of a premises.

maybe purcahse with paypal? You are covered with them anyhow, so if it never turns up when stated open a issue with paypal and they will get your money back within a couple of days

Google's REVERSE SEARCH IMAGE is your friend sometimes.

Use the search I've first recommended as "Gun Shop Kent". Brings up this:

2023-04-14.jpg

But when a reverse search is done the image comes up as a project done for a vets' surgery in Berkshire. Which seems indeed to have that same grey electrical wire hanging loose. And damp patch on one of the concrete slabs? Yet one building---below link...is in Berkshire yet this one above is in Kent:

That and the fact the company sign/logo would appear to simply be typed over the image and not actually part of the building in anyway shape or form.
Companies house shows a company by that name having folded years ago, no filings in yonks. I’d run a mile. Actually scratch that I’d walk it, running is too much like hard work!

Thanks for all your help guys
Think this is deffinately one to just stay well clear off but might try and make contact just to see if I get a response

A few years back a chap I’ve shot with bought a scope and other bits,he was in Germany and asked if we could collect them if he paid.Told him to hang on and we would go and pay and collect,on his behalf when we got to the postcode the items didn’t exist but the company did although a few miles away.A close shave for him as it involved a few Thousand.

I’m in Nonington, shepherdswell and Dover area today if anyone has the address I’ll check it out later and find out
