Cz 22 hornet overpressure problem

Has anyone experienced over pressure problems as I’m experiencing it now with hordanny 35g ammunition in my Cz 527 hornet

What are the symptoms? If any hornet rifle can take high pressure the CZ is in the top two.

When was the last time the barrel was cleaned

Before I went out the barrel is always clean

Are you reloading ? Are you neck sizing ?

I had this problem, but eventually realised it was due to only neck sizing my brass, the rounds chambered fine, but very hard to open the bolt. Since changing to full length sizing, the problem has completely gone away.

I’m not reloading I’m using factory ammunition hordanny 35g

My experience for what it's worth is the same as Henns, full-length resize with no problems, started to neck size only, and a few problems lifting the bolt, not every time though.

Before I went out the barrel is always clean

I had over pressure with a .243 and couldn’t work out the issue, lots of copper in the barrel, once cleaned it was back to normal

This guy has asked this question three times now and refuses to answer simple questions to try and help diagnosis.
We don't even know if it is a pressure issue!

He was advised to conduct a process of elimination but goes mute and then starts another thread on the same issue.

Sorry for the confusion,basically I’ve cleaned and made sure the bolt feeds bullets into the rifle,but when it’s fired the bolt becomes really stiff to open and you have to keep trying to open it until it does eventually,so that’s why I think it’s a pressure build up inside the breech

I’ve also cleaned the barrel with boretech carbon removal fluid and also boretech barrel cleaner

The breech can’t hold pressure, there’s a .22 cal hole in one end of it! The bolt being sticky is a pressure symptom, but it’s because the case has been rammed rearward into the bolt and expanded to fit the chamber of the rifle.
Have you tried a different batch or brand of ammo?

That’s my next thing to try I’ve only tried hordanny 35g in 22 hornet,so was thinking of a different ammo if I can get some similar to 35g

I would like to thank everyone for their help and information on this subject I’m going to try to find some equivalent ammo and if that fails I will take it to a gunsmith as suggested in the other thread

Can you take some photos of the base of the cases that you’ve fired through it and post it in the thread please? That may help to determine what the issue is.

Listen buddy, you and others are assuming it is a pressure issue. It may not be.
I've asked you before, is there and strange scratches on the extracted brass?
I want to eliminate if you have a pitted chamber throat.
I've also asked you to remove the stock. Loosen the trigger from the action and chamber a fired round and extract it.
If it does indeed extract easily with the trigger block off the action we can comfirm or elimate another possible cause for you concern.
Do you understand? It's ok if you don't. If you don't please take it to a gunsmith but please do not tunnel vision the pressure assumption.

As asked by another, pictures of the brass would help.
