Sold: Mdt oryx chassis

For sale is a oryx chassis in FDE. Only got it this week from a sd member but when I put it on my Tikka t3x I found that it was too long & my over barrel mod wouldn’t go on.
Can’t afford anymore money for a different mod so am going to have to sell it. Also comes with a butt spacer kit & I have changed the cheek riser bolts for wheels.

perhaps just ask the seller to take it back for a full refund as i am sure he told you it would fit etc ?

Nothing to do with the seller, my mistake as I didn’t account for the mod

but good will may come into play as he is an sd member ,these things happen, well worth asking the seller, even if he wants £30 for the bother <but he had it for sale for a very long time so probably not the sort to play ball > i do wish you good luck. out of interest do you have a short barrel or a long moderator ?

Well I was told that tikka t3x super varmint are short action, that’s what I have & it fitted ok

I’ve always used wildcat mods as I like them but the only option I have is a forward mod which start at £460

mdt make two oryx chassis for the tikka t3/t3x a short one 223/308 etc and a long one for 6.5x55 upwards. mdt magazines fit differently to the tikka magazine ,if this stock fits the rifle you have i am told its a very good chassis .i have been looking for one for a while but i require the long action one and they are difficult to find, good luck to the seller, this should soon be snapped up .
