Sorry to go off topic but I have been using one of the Vanguard Zippers for over 20 years & I can't imagine ever breaking it - got to ask, what happened?

My old mum. Decided to open a old tin of paint. Needless to say she snapped 1" off the tip
guessed it wouldn't have been using it properly

Am sorted with a 2nd hand example. These are great knifes. And my new one with be hidden away from any users. Wanting to open tin lids. Thanks for the use of this excellent forum.
