I might just be persuaded to part with one of mine. l have two “Ross” an early brass bodied three draw “A Ross” @ 1860 good optics (no scratches or chips) complete with lens cap and leather case with carrying strap, but the leather cover on the scope body‘s stitching has slightly parted an one end, it certainly doesn’t bother me and it was like that when I purchased it. All draws in great condition.
The other ”Ross” is a Pancratic Aluminium bodied scope @ 1930’s again good optics (no scratches or chips) sadly no lens cover ( l don’t know if it ever had one) complete with its leather case and carrying strap, strap may need replacing at some stage, this type of scope is apparently more sought after.
All draws in good condition.
l suppose both the “Ross” scopes may possibly benefit from a service.
Then l have a “Gray” of Inverness handling marks only.
Bottom in photo is the Aluminium “Ross”
Middle in photo early “Ross”
Top is the “Gray”
The two “Ross” are period scopes and show signs of use,
If you’re interested please contact me for further details/photos later this evening.
The photo below doesn’t show them very well.
