What do you pay your Chief Executive?

Our Chief Executive’s salary is £137,917 as published in our latest Annual Report & Accounts.

As below. So I'll pass thank you.

Wages and salaries = £6,007,000

The emoluments of employees who are higher paid fell into the following bands of £10,000:

£60,000 - £69,999 = 5
£70,000 - £79,999 = 4
£80,000 - £89,999 = 2
£90,000 - £99,999 = 1
£100,000 - £109,999 = 0
£110,000 - £119,999 = 2
£120,000 - £129,999 = 0
£130,000 - £140,000 = 1

The emoluments paid to the Chief Executive in the year year were £138,198 (2021: £138,198).

Which is £30,000 a year MORE than "Call me Dave" Lord Cameron will be paid as Foreign Secretary.

Have I missed something ? But what on earth does the Chief Executives pay, have to do with giving to a very worthy charity ???

It would be a pity to penalize "Children in Need", for an irrelevant reason ?

I am afraid that i don’t donate to any charity’s anymore , I’ve seen how SOME are run and how wasteful they are !

I would agree, and I won't give to companies, or organizations collecting on a charities behalf, I will only give something direct to the charity. I would consider the BBC Children In Need charity to be safe !

I consider myself fortunate, and I am more than happy to give a few £'s to help a worthy cause, because one day, I may be in need of some help !

RSPCA omg they blew hundreds of thousands on court cases that came to nothing.
i still think that they have a vital role to play but!!!

Very relevant I think

Please explain what you consider relevant, about the pay of a BBC employee, to giving to a charity that the BBC run with no BBC employees being paid for their involvement ?

If people don't want to give to a charity, that's their right, but some of the excuses people feel the need to come up with, just smack of "tight fisted" !

I would consider anything to do with the BBC very dubious at best , i go out of my way to have nothing to do with them and certainly would not give them money !

BBC children in need ? After saville , no thanks they caused children to be in need !
