I've had my BOG a good few weeks now and was going to do an honest equipment review .
As an aid to an ambush in the daytime it is spot on , nighttime it's not so good and we start to see its failings . To set the tripod level requires truing using the bubble level before clamping your rifle which requires light

. If you walk and stalk your foxes it's a little weighty , can be noisy to deploy and on a cold night will sap the warmth from your hand when carrying .
In my mind it's biggest failing is the lack of ball head , there is a company making adaptors to add one .
On the plus side they are very solid and will clamp your rifle in a solid manner . The legs will also lock at three different angles which allow for standing, sitting and even prone .
This evening , I spent a few hours ratting with Dr. Strangelove at a farm he has permission at and the BOG was a blessing . The R10SE was clamped in , whilst I spotted with the thermal . So much safer and easier than trying to hold a rifle whilst spotting .As for walk and stalk as
@Utectok pointed out quadsticks are more adaptable and as for the BOG being a copy , well who gives a f#@$ .
I haven't been disappointed, I intend to buy an adaptor at some point and fit a ball head .
