Surprise NRA email

"Sky " rang mum yesterday to take out insurance for her Sky Q t.v .
Mmm that'll be the one she's never ever owned.
Anything vague like this gets blocked number and emails never ever get opened.

If you follow the "login or register account" link on the actual NRA home page (top right) it takes you to the nra.justgo.com link in post #1, so may well be legitimate!

The NRA home page takes you here:

(Justgo.com is event management software)

not sure of it’s authenticity

I would never click on an unsolicited link. I would always contact the office/supplier/service via previously established methods and ask for confirmation of request.

But...a crude test you can apply is this: Do the words in the link match the embedded hyperlink? I.e if you mouse over the link [without clicking it] your browser should show the actual hyperlink at bottom left of window.

If the revealed hyperlink lists an unrelated domain, there is a possibility it is a faker. See below for example of where printed name and actual hyperllink match [cropped from this page].

I do not run any Apple products, so no personal experience.

But a search suggests that it is a feature you can toggle on and off [certainly in Safari: View> Show Status Bar]

Whether similar "view" toggles exist in your email client, I do not know.
