Sold: Budget 30mm tube scope for a 223.

I recently picked up a 223 but wasn't able to stretch to tje accompanying scope and was wonderi g if anyone had anythig kicking about they were looking to part with that could get me up and running while I build up the scope fund again?å

I know it previously had a 50mm scope on it but Ibwas told it was a very snug fit to the barrel so probably be looking sub 50mm ideally.

To swap to 1" would mean a set of bases to as it currently has some kind of all in one base and rings ( a millett turn-in set up I think), butI'm not averse to swapping if someone had some bases/rail to suit Rem 700 they wanted part with without eatingtoo much budget.

You should be able to pick up a used Hawke scope for next to nothing and it will do the job fine.

I have a spare set of 3D printed inserts to suit a 1" scope going into 30mm rings, if you end up wanting them just fire me a PM and I'll post them over.

My worry with going for a 50mm is that even ifit's just a little bit chunkier externally at the objective end than what was on, that it might foul the barrel.
