Yes I think the issue is they don’t have recording so you can’t see the footage, this was on a rifle I bought recently and I use thermal but did shoot a few rats with it and a pigeon during the day, I’ve added the external ir into the sale so your not running the internal batteries down but I’ve done that with pard 007 and 008s in the past. Reviews on line are good especially for the price
I have x3! One on .243 one on FAC Air rifle and a customised one goes on the .22lr for bunny bashing.
On board IR only good enough for ratting. If you fit a good external IR perfectly adequate up to 100yds or so. Can be a pig to zero as limited adjustment but Burtis Zee Signature rings easily solves this issue.
Simple to use and not too heavy. Appear very reliable.
Customised one has camera lens fitted so a tad heavy but I have Photon doubler to fit on another one. This will reduce weight. Mag will then be about 10x.
If your on a v tight budget they are superb. I have N470s on my .204 for foxing. Sadly no longer made but excellent bit of kit.
