I'm longtime friends with a few guys on here and have lurked for sometime. I figured I might drop in on a convo or two so an introduction was in line. More of me:
-Lifelong hunter
-Primarily big game, but wish I did more waterfowl.
-Outdoor writer, with some consulting to pad the checkbook.
-Partial to my Chessie Cane and peregrine Freyja.
-Known to pick up a flyrod when the dryfly is on.
-Enjoy the finer art of wildgame culinary.
-Made my first trip across the pond last year. Will definitely be back.

Welcome! Fly fishing and hunting in Montana - that’s bucket-list country! Looking forward to your contributions…

It is not lost on me. After school and military I hurried home and never left. And while I prefer a dryfly to any other hook, I will do what I have to to find the fish. I'm largely lost in the mountains during September chasing the bugles of a bull.

But there is very fine country in England and an old world connection that heightens it's experience.
