How much do you have to pay our king for using your traps then?

It’s a percentage on what you sell the fur for. But is anywhere from a few cents on small animals up to maybe $10 of a wolf. It goes to the Canadian government but is still called ‘royalties’ from the old days and any public land here is still called ‘crown’ land.
