Hi All,

The PARD NV007SP LRF

And PARD NV007SP

Are in stock for next day delivery, now that we have sorted out all the back orders.

These come with the QR type mount and new built in LED illuminator.

If you need long range then add a Dark Engine BLADE

Cheers

Clive.
can you explain what's the difference between the Gen1 and the Gen2?

We never stocked the Gen1 SP due to QC issues.

The Gen 2 has these issues resolved and the obvious change is the built in illuminator now being LED instead of VCSEL.

The LED gives a nicer beam with the simple lens used in these units and is ideal for more 'normal' ranges.

For long range you always needed a decent additional IR anyway and the Dark Engine BLADE very much covers that end of things.

Thank you Clive.

Hi Clive

Sorry for posting into an older thread but am about to order one of these from you to go onto two different scopes and I’m wondering if I’d need any adapters? The old model seemed to have a lot of them but don’t seem to see many for this one.

Main use is on a Hawke Airmax compact 3-12 x 40 SF. Hawke website says the eyepiece end is 39mm / 1.5”.

I may also try it in my wife’s Zeiss conquest v4 6-24x50 which is 44mm eye piece. Not sure it will work on that scope due to coatings but thought it’s worth a try as we don’t want to switch to a digital scope on that rifle. Range is always below 200m

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,

That will fit both of those with the supplied bayonet and shims.

You need to be aware of the inherent magnification in these units. AFAIK it will increase scope base mag x2.5. This is ok for low base mag scopes (like your Airmax) but it isn't great for your Zeiss with base mag of x6. The coatings on the Zeiss may also affect ir performance.

Thanks @beanieboy, that’s what I was worried about on the Zeiss. I’ve seen some good threads on that topic and wasn’t sure whether to get one or not for that reason.

Main use will be on the airmax for rats/ rabbits. Was thinking about a dedicated day/night but if we can also get some use with the Zeiss as well it’s a bonus.

Base mag on your X3 Air max will become x7.5 when attaching the Pard.....not ideal for rats. One of the older 007 units with 12mm lens might be a better option. You could also consider a dedicated NV unit with x2.5/3 base mag. Plenty to chose from.....new and used.
