Is it legal to import medical kits or tourniquets from abroad?

I found JFAK, but all ingredients expired. And I cannot find any RATS, unless they cost twice more, I wanted to buy a few to keep practicing application...

You’ll have to shop around to find the bits. Nothing special about the JFAK, it’s just all packaged together.

The CAT tourniquet is a very good option, and is currently issued by at least the British Army!

I am training with CAT, but RATS is more compact and better used on legs when wearing clothes than CAT

Look at proper studies, it's ****. Get a CAT or SOFT-T
I did - I know that, unlike CAT7, RATS is not approved and can cause a lot of tissue damage. However, CAT7 is very bulky, so I will carry it intentionally when I go hunting, while RATS can always be in my pocket, for example, when I ride my bike - I wear airbag, so I cannot use many pockets, CAT7 may injure me in case I fall

Why not just buy the stuff over here. There’s plenty of first aid websites with good quality stuff and you can bulk up a standard first aid kit with job specific bits ie celox or a tourniquet.

The rat has a longer time to occlusion, and higher failure rate. Not much point carrying it.
