Canada has the same approach to its native citizenship I'm afraid.
Time marches on police forces don't.
And the documentary about how many women are raped/ dissapered without being investigated is harrowing.

Canada has the same approach to its native citizenship I'm afraid.

While I am not agreeing with any of the actions, the news could report it a little clearer for them fishermen who were fishing for elvers which has a closed season - simply means no fishing due to the stocks

There are problems, but the majority of the "news" is inaccurate and dont paint a true picture
I speak not as an Indigenous person of course, but have Indigenous family and have lived near many communities and had a lot of friends. The politics of the "Band" is something quite disgusting, and if you are with the right family you get help, if not, you get very little help, which includes access to the Indigenous police force services

This is not something new, there have been similar numerous reports going back in time some years.
Actually you could probably truthfully claim as far back as to when Captain Cook first landed.

They used to hunt each other for sport long before anyone showed up

But am sure on any continent it happened, just one more of the atrocities that people did, am sure some of them Vikings did the same, or felt the same when invading
