For Sale: CZ452 Stutzen .22LR + Leupold VX-1 2-7x33 scope on genuine CZ mounts + spare magazine - MINT (honestly)

Overrun with young rabbits but can't bring yourself to do them the indignity of shooting them with an ugly rifle? Then this is for you! Happy Monday!

very nice rifle good luck. I have a stutzen in .243 and it makes me smile whenever I see it. Are you sure you want to part with it

Hello everyone.

After a decade and a bit of owning rifles, I have to admit that my shooting has turned out differently from what I had expected (in a good way), but it means that this rifle is just never used.

I don't think I need to present the CZ452 technically, and the photos should speak for themselves: you'd really struggle to notice this rifle and scope have ever been used. This is partly because I look after my kit, and partly just because it's genuinely seen very little use.

Full service history: bought in mint condition in 2013 from a gamekeeper who had to retire due to injury before he'd even had a chance to take it out of the box. Scope was new from Sportsman's Gun Centre, mounts new directly from CZ in the Czech Republic before The Event. Has been used very sparingly on running boar and zeroing targets at BSRC in Bisley, but we're looking at maybe 300 rounds in its whole life. Plus a few shots at rabbits and hares ages ago. Full paper trail available if you won't take my word for it. I will throw in the RWS ammunition (one full box, one mostly full) and a spare magazine. The 452 has been replaced by the 455 in-between and people have VIEWS on this. There is no Stutzen option anymore, so this is something of a collector's piece especially given the condition.

I'm based in London, will travel around within reason for face to face transfer, or RFD transfer at your own cost.

I am looking for £650 for the lot, and I really don't think you'd want to change that scope setup, it's about as perfect as you could hope for (look at the close ups of the bolt and rearsight clearance). And don't ask: OBVIOUSLY it's not threaded for a moderator.

Thanks!

I'm bringing the photos back to the fore of this thread because I just can't believe no-one wants this! It must have slipped people's minds.

It has been a while since I gave this item a plug, and it deserves it. Please form an orderly queue and I shall review your offers. 😁

Hello,
I don't have a slot for this rifle. I just love the look of the Stutzen. I am still looking at what to buy next. obviously i would need a variation
all the best in the sale
You could always get a rifle sent to a local RFD and then pick it up when your variation is in your postbox ? It has to be dropped at an RFD premises anyhow , just saying like 22 variations are very easy when you have an fac to start with

Well it's almost that time of year when we write letters to Father Christmas with evidence of how good we've been and suggestions for how we would like to be rewarded for it. I know this forum is a bit of a rogue's convention, but I can't believe there isn't a single person who has deserved a mint condition CZ452 Stutzen .22LR here!

Come on, who has been a good girl or boy? If not you, surely you know someone who has been?

Happy new year everyone! This lovely rifle is sitting in the dark in the cabinet, quite rightly feeling neglected, although not unloved. But please, could this be the year that someone buys it and takes it out in the field as it deserves? Go on, in 2025, make a Stutzen happy!

Bloody lovely that.
I’ve a slot as well , but no buying for me till after April I’m afraid

Mad that it’s not sold though. Pretty rifle.

Run run Rudolph, Santa says you want a new stutzen!

(Yes it's lyrically pathetic but the point stands. Fits nicely in a 1m stocking)
