I’ve been to see the owners of one of my permissions this evening, her brother has passed and they are clearing his house, they had some of his old shooting kit and asked if I’d like it.

It is largely TR / rimfire target gear so of little use to me but I said I’d try and sell it for them but I have no clue what to ask for them!

Any information on potential prices and best places to sell on the following gratefully received….

Also this mount which I assume is for supine/back gunning 74F8282F-85C5-4F1E-8A91-65DF6BFAFDB8.jpeg
Various Parker hale mounts, the second ones up from the bottom appear to be windage adjustable. AF2A820A-B309-488D-AEB1-6858328227CB.jpeg

More mounts, some presumably for 4x20 type scopes I remember from air rifles as a kid

Plus a, I think, tasco 20x42 and a lovely vintage Bushnell Banner 2 3-9x32 that may well end up on my Marlin 39A

The 20x42 being in optilocks maybe?

Markings on the PH mounts as follows

RAL3 x 2 sets
RAHS3 x1 set
One set with one ring marked RBLS3 and one RBL3
Small ones are RBNS.1

Windage ones are marked 39218

Interested in the smaller set of boxed 'roll off' rings in your sixth picture.

Could you confirm the inside diameter of the rings and also the distance across the top & bottom of the tapers.

I'm guessing the ones in picture 5 that are windage adjustable are 1" diameter?

Cheers.

They are these but the studs appear to have been removed

Windage are for 25 mm

I don't envy you trying to value those sights because some may well have some collector interest. There's certainly some scarce Parker Hale stuff there which is attractive to some who want to retain a retro effect on old rifles. I'm pretty certain that the total true value of the stuff may be higher than most of us would imagine if sold in the right place, the Trafalgar meeting at Bisley comes to mind.
I'm thinking that perhaps if you sent those photographs to Norman Clark (Gunsmiths) he might be able to tell you what potentially they may be worth.

I'm wondering if the sight rail that you think may be for supine use may possibly be a set back sight rail to fit a B.S.A. International?

If I was you I’d post them on eBay as a job lot and make it available to non-U.K. bidders. The price you will reach will shock you due to the collectability of some of these.
