Different reasons as in what?almost snap. 22LR, 243(sold) 308 and a 375.
out of interest did the similar calibres need different reasons?
There is a siddi
its been a while maybe 2 years or more since I last handled one.
I know contractors that use them to great effect.
One used it as a work rifle and to shoot PRS,I think he had two barrels though of the same calibre as not to fry his work barrel.
He loved the modularity of them which I think is blasers strength.
I’m not an anti blaser merchant or anything ,
But I’ll just not hear it that they are the safest rifles to exist and cannot possibly fail.
I read a story on a forum of a guy that travelled up to a weeks stalking , unpacked his car , was sorting kit out etc
He passed the guide his loaded blaser , round in the spout , safety engaged, didn’t mention a word to the guide about it being in a ready state , luckily guide was a consumate professional and carried out nsps to discover he had been handed a rifle in such a state.
Only good weapon handling and safety drills prevented a possible horror story.
When challenged about the state of the rifle , the owner doubled down and cited blasers safety systems saying it was fine and blaser had a total of 7 safety functions and it wouldn’t discharge.
As you can imagine, this wasn’t well recieved and I imagine the rifle owner did a whole lot of armed walking that week without shooting much

Yep get all that, anything mechanical can break it’s has to its a bit of metal or plastic, that’s good for anything,Personally I think people are blinded by the price tag and just because they have paid in the region of £4k for their take to bits spout, they think it’s perfect.
Nothing in this world is flawless, every rifle has faults, all accept the bomb proof Ruger M77 which I can say I have shot for 15 years and NEVER had a ND
when firearms licensing ask what each similar calibre is for?Different reasons as in what?
thanks
Since having blasers I’ve actually reduced my firearms which made the FEO a happy chap the reason for that I had 3 22 rimmies, day scope, NV and a target rifle now 1 blaser 3 scopeswhen firearms licensing ask what each similar calibre is for?

I wouldn't even use a Ruger M77 to knock the compo off the scaffold boards me ole cocker..Personally I think people are blinded by the price tag and just because they have paid in the region of £4k for their take to bits spout, they think it’s perfect.

Obviously too rustic and too much gun for you to handleI wouldn't even use a Ruger M77 to knock the compo off the scaffold boards me ole cocker..![]()
Ahhh but with a ruger you could do that and still pick a flea of a foxes arseI wouldn't even use a Ruger M77 to knock the compo off the scaffold boards me ole cocker..![]()
apart from having less rifles !nothing not to like
I never have been normal I’m getting rid of guns unnecessary and unwanted baggageapart from having less rifles !
no normal shooter prefers less rifles !
i can understand that, I’m seriously looking at just one for all deer rifleI never have been normal I’m getting rid of guns unnecessary and unwanted baggage
It’s the way forward, have one rifle and be confident with it!U

A better name for a ND would be an error In drill.Yep get all that, anything mechanical can break it’s has to its a bit of metal or plastic, that’s good for anything,
What does come up which I don’t know why - the blaser click and ND. Both of those are apart from it breaking as other rifles do, is down to operator errors or crap maintenance or a combo of both
If you fail to clean or don’t push the bolt home crap happens, all of these can be avoided with learning to use and clean the rifle
I’ve use blasers and yes I got the blaser clicks on the outset, ****es you off when the cross hairs on something
BUT it’s 100% driver error nothing to do with the rifle mechanics as for the ND I tried with all my calibres to get a ND under controlled conditions and could not get any of my gear to cooperate as that was the reason it was high on my list for buying purely on the safety
As said by other guys rifles breakdown, that’s sods law but you got to look at driver error, training snd maintenance and not the mechanics
No one ever mentions the tikka click either, where the bolt is slightly raised, has happened to me and a DSC 2 candidate I was witnessing. That doesn’t surprise me in the slightest
Also had the Blaser click been mentioned?
Over hyped, massively over priced and does nothing that a tikka, sako, Parker hale or a rust bucket ruger does.
Never had a tikka, sako 75 and 85 for me. but some say they are good rifles, when sako introduced them a very good gunsmith at that time pulled one to pieces and said they just fit nicely into a budget rifle statusNo one ever mentions the tikka click either, where the bolt is slightly raised, has happened to me and a DSC 2 candidate I was witnessing.
That’s a new one on meNo one ever mentions the tikka click either, where the bolt is slightly raised, has happened to me and a DSC 2 candidate I was witnessing.
