ND says it perfectly...."Negligent"!A better name for a ND would be an error In drill.
Anything else mechanical failure.

I’ve always managed to cycle mine silently….especially when a second fox has been within 30yards. Never had a problem with that.Pros - Accurate, good trigger, ‘safe’ uncocked carry, repeatable take down, interchangeability.
Cons - expensive, adj cheek piece VERY expensive, thermoplastic stocks, no stainless barrels, high mounts, cannot cycle quietly.
I take the view the cons outweigh the negatives because I value stainless, non thermoplastic, silent cycling and externally adjustable triggers
The beretta option is £1500 and very nice indeedOther switch barrel rifles are available …..
My ‘technique’ is to use my thumb as a brace against the bolt carrier, forefinger forward to prevent the case ejecting while the other fingers wrap round and slowly work the bolt handle with a twist of the wrist…I stand corrected but I found opening and shutting it quite loud ie a series of unavoidable clicks
Got better thinks to spend £4k onWithout slating any make or model of rifle , it has taken me 15 years to get where I am. I always liked the idea of Blaser rifles , interchangeable barrel, safety! Yes safety ! Being able to change optic with no change of zero , what else would you want in a stalker , pest controller . I have had some very nice rifles , low end and high end, some more accurate than others . As many of you may know I now own an R8 and yes it did cost me a fortune, but!!! I don’t grudge a penny of it . When I take it out of the gun room it makes me smile. So to all you who are slating Blaser rifles and have never owned one think AGAIN
So why slate themGot better thinks to spend £4k on![]()

I’ve handled them, shot them and have a blatant hate of them.So why slate them![]()
So tell us all what you use thenI’ve handled them, shot them and have a blatant hate of them.
Sorry but could have got one for £1500 and you lot are paying In the region of £4k for them, so you lot are massively over paying!
Yep you can pull it to bits and change barrel , big deal!
I can do all that with a beretta for £1500
By all means, do as you please, I’m only offering my opinion same as everyone else on the SD
I hate peppers but I don’t go on and on about it…. I just don’t eat them, problem solved. It’s no secret what I use and have used for the last decade and more, Ruger M77 as elegant as a kick In the stones, but 100% reliable, accurate and a damn sight cheaper.
Bought the 270 15 years ago, beat it hard no I have a 7x57.
I calibre, I rifle and complete reliability.
What a blasphemy ! DGVM is a Zeiss Pro Stalker ...blaster r8 thumb hole .308 with a leica sight !
The Cerakote was just to satisfy my ocd.
The barrel was 2nd hand and had a couple of external marks which combined with the silver mod messed with my mojo.
Quality cerakote job thanks to @taylor and I am very happy with the aesthetic and the performance.
Browning Legia spray is an integral part of my gun care routine and I have never had any rust issues with my Blaser or other makes of rifles.
Sorry you’re spot on zeiss optic not leica , don’t know where I got that fromWhat a blasphemy ! DGVM is a Zeiss Pro Stalker ...![]()
Sorry you’re spot on zeiss optic not leica , don’t know where I got that from
I was at Bisley this Saturday with my R8 and tried some factory ammunition.
