I can just about get the site to work, but only if you know exactly what you are looking for. As to browsing, forget it. I tried to look at some guns on a gunshop's website that links through to Guntrader, but it was unusable, and showed guns from every other trader but the one I wanted, and you couldn't open up any ads to look at the details. I have one advert on there and you used to be able to see the number of views it had attracted. I can't find this function now, so really unimpressed!
From memory - the last time they tried this it was a few weeks before they reverted to the old (working) site.
As they have previous experience youâd hope theyâd be able to streamline the process of âmaking a balls of itâ through to âclimb down & revertâ.
The fact they have done this before leads me to think they may not learn from their mistakes so I'm not hopeful about that happening quicker this time

Searched for Edinburgh Rifles to look at GRS stocked Tikka 308 - found their page on Guntrader site then tried to find the rifle - Guntrader then shows search results for the whole site - about as much use as not bothering.
Canât do a search for a stock on their site now as no category for it - used to be able to select from equipment but not there any more.
Do a search for GRS & two of the three listed have server errrors.
No way to run a business & amazed anyone bothers to use them as a seller tbh.
Hope theyâre reading these posts & realise how
their site is!!

I worked as a we developer for quite a few years in a previous life. There is a sink way that we would have released a site riddled with errors like this, and certainly not in this fashion either. We would have a sec server and version of the site and test it over and over until we'd identified and resolved all the bugs we could find. We would also announce release dates well in advance - not just drop a new version out of the blue - and we worked with customers would had paid for integrations to make sure they would work at the get go. The way Guntrader works (or doesn't) is absolutely atrocious. They're either arrogant and don't care, or they're inept and incompetent...and given the completely outrageous data breach a couple of years ago, I'm going with definitely the latter, possibly also the former.
To be fair to them, there is 1 improvement I wanted to see from the old site. If you wanted to find Tikka T3x Tac A1s, you could filter for model - BUT you would have to go through the list and select every way that someone had typed it in. There would be Tac A1, Tact A1, TacA1, T3 Tax A1, T3xTac 1A - it goes on, most with only 1 or 2 in that "model" but they'd all be the same just people putting down the model one way or the other. With the actual search bar, it seems to be a bit closer to that, but still no cigar...
