I have been @Virtus Precision UK projectiles in my Tikka T3x .308 140gr Merlin for the last 12 months with excellent results but due to the unavailability of RL15 I switched over to the .125gr Osprey using N140.
tried them out on range to check zero and were sub 1”
I tried them out last night for first time and was very pleased with the results.
I shot a Sika Pricket at 112m and it dropped on spot, I later shot a Roe Buck at 122m that also dropped on spot.
When gralloched both animals were very clean with minimal carcass damage but could see where the petals had fragmented and expanded well. The Ospreys fragment the least compared to the Merlin’s.
Really pleased and won’t be changing from these👍 pictures of Roe and Sika below.

I have just tried the 120g Osprey out in my 7mm over the last week. They seem to be very well made and accurate and shot to the same point of impact as my usual load. Load development was easy as anything else I’ve used. Expansion seemed to be very reliable out to 250m and there were secondary wound tracts as expected from the design. All in all they seemed to work very well and if you are in the market for a partially fragmenting UK made bullet these are a good choice.

May I ask what load of n140 you started at as I have got a T3.308 myself and am just about to start reloadingwith osprey 125gr. TIA

Been shooting ospreys out of my 6.5x55. They seem the best of the fragmenting copper with little damage compared to the others.

Since my earlier post I have had a few less than ideal results with poor terminal performance and one where the bullet pencilled through both lungs without causing more than a pin hole

Ouch.
Ive only use them on Roe, MJ and CWD and been good so far.
I’m still between them and Yewtree. TBH

Trying Yew Tree currently
If you were happy with the external ballistics I would be inclined to try the same load weight etc. in the merlin or even the eagle version before discarding the idea of Virtus altogether.
