Just received my cert in the post after attending a course near Haltwhistle about 2 weeks ago. Will submit an application for a variation over the weekend to get a 6.5cm on my ticket. Fingers crossed wont take long.

Thanks once the variation comes through will be hot footing it round to my local RFDs to check out Bergara for starters, possibly others and see whats what.

Im not sure it would do for me, you fil your boots though , and besides, if the variation comes through in the timeframe discussed when my FAC was granted, ill barely have time to shave!! Fingers crossed!

If it helps I have the Thumbhole wilderness in 6.5 CM and I’m very pleased with it. In fact I have 4 rifles by Bergara and I like all of them.

Funnily enough thats what i am thinking of, i havent held one yet so may feel differently when i shoulder it. I was also looking at the Howa 1500 but all the reviews seem to place the Begara above it, plus my RFD stocks Begara so if i can id prefer to buy something he stocks if i can.

Well i did manage to have a shave, but only just. Updated cert with variation for 6.5cm plus mode and ammo arrived in the post today, that's elven days in total from variation submitted 29/6!!

Now for some shopping!

For the price of some of the new Bergaras don’t forget Tikka T3X .

I was pro bergara and had shot HMRs, b14s and then fell in love with a Tikka T3X SV !
