Hahaha! Well, while I can still remember the peculiar query syntax I'm going to carry on dodging the ArcGis £penalty.

If you can spare the time, Qgis is well worth learning. Free and more flexible than ArcGis. I reckon you can probably get to where you need to be with about 30 hours of concerted effort.

Thanks, yes I have got that info and am trying to get to their 'size' and geographical reach. I haven't actually asked Land Rover since I imagine they might be unkeen to share info....

I wonder if anyone has seen this sort of topic discussed in a car mag... they might have some sort of relevant data.

I expect 90% are leased or on some other HP contract so might not reflect the actual wealth of the individuals.

Thanks, I will look at it but with nearly 30 years of Mapinfo tables and workspaces, I have to admit that there is a bit of mental inertia to overcome!
