I’m planning a trip to Africa and thinking of using a Peli 1750 case for my rifle, if anyone has one with the foam lining, that they would like to move on?

I can’t help with one for sale other than to say keep an eye out on evil bay as they come up a fair bit. Also look at the SKB range of cases that are every bit as robust and often a bit cheaper. If you need to redo the foam check out Shadowfoam who have been excellent to deal with and provide a far better product than the foam from Peli as it doesn’t give way the same. Have done a couple of cases and they turn out well.

Daft question, do the airlines accept Peli/SKB as approved for air travel? I’m assuming they do as a lot of folk use these but I can’t see anything online to say that this is correct.
Never even been asked about compliance for Peli's.................... you only have to research their testing parameters. Navy seals teams / Marines get lots of their kit air dropped in Peli products.
Yes they do accept them without any question. I heard that all they need is metal fittings for the padlocks to go through in order to be “Airline Approved” but I’m not sure how true this is.Hi Selous,
