For me the issue with bino thermal at night was blinding myself in both eyes and not being able to continue walking safely. Probably not really an issue if your mainly with a vehicle.

Have trained myself now to only use my right eye for thermal monocular then can transition same eye to IR scope. Leaves one eye with natural night vision

Again so strange how we are all so different - i shoot with a group of circa 10 and none of us has ever experienced blindness from the binos- Monocular yes but never Binos

When you decide which make suits you best, get one that has a LRF as it makes life so much easier when out foxing.
I use a Pulsar Axion XQ38LRF and I prefer a monocular and I use it on my right eye, same as my scope to preserve the night vision in my left eye.
However, I can see the advantage of the Habrok when deer stalking.

I like the Habrook 4k and as I have said elsewhere, if you just use them for stalking, they are great.
If you want to use them for foxes and rabbits at night, then, imho, the thermal spec is to low and the IR doesn’t give you a decent enough range at night.

Once they sort that out, I will happily have another set as having thermal, binos, nv and lrf in one package is great, and I didn’t suffer with blindness.

Thats one of the great things about shooting; everyone has an opinion based on experience and what suits them. I find the variations fascinating and I have picked up many tips from this site.

I also googled the Infiray FH35r, to me it doesn't look very ergonomically designed for the hand!

I am on the CQ35l, yes the fh35r is a cracking unit, but not as ergonomic at all.
