More reasons not to support McDonald’s.

The fact is, there are swathes of people who never cook. Their contribution to the culinary art of this country is to heat up some baked beans in the microwave occasionally until the next handout drops when their meals consist of mainly a MacDonald's breakfast, with a MacDonald's lunch (happy meals for the kids) and then similar at tea time unless they are flush, when it's a takeaway. Other fast food outlets also feature occasionally.

And you've got to accept that MacDonalds have created a model that rakes in the dough (no pun intended). From time to time they will put "specials" on, adding an unbelievably thin slice of bacon or something to one of their choices. That apart, it's money for old rope and who can blame them. As for how good they are, well living off them is a recipe (still no pun intended) for disaster, but basically it's a bit of beef or chicken in a bun with some chips. Having one when you are stuck somewhere and hungry ain't going to kill you.

to produce the beef in its burgers.

Watch ‘super size me’ if you want to know the effects on your body.
You will say it’s only the odd one I have, but many eat it regularly, take their children/grandchildren regularly as a treat.
It was revealed that Morgan Spurlock was a chronic alcoholic who hid this from the producers and medical experts who examined him. The evidence and damage to his liver and body in general has been proved to be due to alcohol and not just what he was eating.

The amount of fast food he was eating was abnormal and the sheer amount of calories would lead to weight gain but I don't think anyone would think otherwise.

The problem with people who "treat" themselves on a daily basis don't realise that it's no long a treat if it's every day, it's just habit and routine.

The people who are unhealthy and who eat at McDonalds all the time are notnunhelathy because the food is bad. They are unhealthy because they are complete slobs.
Pretending that personal moral failings are the fault of a company, or the responsibility of the state to sort out, only makes things worse.

I can’t help but laugh when I read drivel like this, McDonalds doesn’t force people to eat their foods. The reason there are so many fat f#cks eating MacDonalds is because they are weak lazy slobs, and refuse to take responsibility for their actions.

What I object to is having to pay for the fat f#cks when they become a burden on the NHS and society and ultimately someone else ends up paying for their poor life choices.

At uni a friend was a big fan of the 99p Mc savers menu. So much so he joined the US based double cheese appreciation society, to represent 🇬🇧 Mc D fans on the other side of the pond, some big eaters in that group! His record was 5 double 99p cheeseburgers in one sitting. Sill as skinny as a rake to this day!

Early contender (amongst some strong competition) for the angriest post of the month.

Unknown-1.webp😊

And evidence shows that the attitudes expressed above does nothing to stop it from happening.
Education is the key not ridicule and name calling.

I remember going to McDonalds in the West End when I was around 16 and it had just arrived in the UK. I was full of enthusiasm and expecting a humongous slab of meat hanging out of a bun. After all everyone was bigging it up.

Having queued for a good while, I saw that rather than being served freshly cooked, they were wrapped in paper and served from a warm chamber where they had been sitting for a period. First off put.

Having been served the ineptly named Big Mac in its greaseproof shroud, I was equally disappointed by the synthetic taste of the contents. I would need 3 of these escapees from a chemical laboratory to satisfy my appetite, and worried that this might make me very unwell.

That was a long time ago and on the few occasions that I have been starving with no alternative since, I note that not a lot has changed.

For me a classic case of marketing over content, and I don't need any more reasons not to eat Mcdonalds.

I don't class it as food,more E numbers than a telephone directory,unpronounceable "ingredients".
Never eaten any of that type of "food" since my late teens.
I certainly wouldn't feed it to children.
You really need to understand what a e number is , a burger can have the same e numbers as a steak with a bbq rub on , if you could see the e numbers for a meal at a top restaurant you would probably not eat , p.s I don,t eat at Mc d, I prefer burger fuel.

No, stop this nanny state woke ideology, it’s not down to the state to manage people’s daily lives, decent people take responsibility for there decisions whilst many people would rather try and blame anyone or any organisation for their own failures rather than take responsibility themselves.

That’s not what’s I said.
I said people going round saying that they are lazy fat bastards does not sort the problem.
Educating the less intelligent into how they can improve their health IS the answer and will save us money.
Rather than ranting use your energy into constructively helping those who need to be shown a better way.
It’s not Woke it’s a way of reducing the health bill and helping the NHS to cope.
Shouting from the sidelines and lobbing handgrenades in does very little in the long run.
Roll your selves up, get your tits in the sink and try and help the less fortunate.

Just listen your yourself.

We all have choices, I could eat McDonald’s everyday but I choose not to as that would be a poor life choice. Because of our social safety net in the form of benefits and the NHS those that choose to shovel crap in their mouths and be a non productive member of society never feel the full consequences of their actions.

Some people have terrible health problems that could never be prevented I have sympathy for those people, not the fatties shovelling crap into their mouths.
