I have a near mint Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter in .177. Absolutely stunning piece of kit with near pellet on pellet accuracy. Comes with a Hawke Panorama EV 4 X 16 X 50 AO IR scope, Air Arms QTec mod (very good mod supplied with the rifle), 2 X 10 shot magazines, filling adaptor and a unbranded notched bipod (surprisingly good quality and sturdy). The magazine indexing post was upgraded giving a much smoother loading cycle due to the OEM having a tendency to fail.

How heavy is it to use? Would it be suitable for practising different shooting positions for stalking in the garden etc or do you really need to be using the bipod?

Hi Yeomans,

A quick look on the Internet states this rifle weights 3.4kgs. Like with any rifle/air rifle shooting, I personally wouldn't shoot freehand however this air rifle can be held comfortably against a support if required. Additionally, if you're wanting to simulate using quad sticks and other mount options, this will be more than suffice. The bipod is a on T-Stud so can be removed within seconds if required.
