Vacuuming is now a pleasure…

In the spirit of friendship so rare nowadays but pleasingly common on the SD site I offer some free advice to all; now bear with chaps…
In FB Towers the delicate subject of err….. “cleaning” regularly raises its head - often resulting in (strangely welcome) silence and me eating a lot of carry-outs indeed when we had a dog she would often take refuge anywhere out of earshot and believe me when Lady FB starts on one that needs to be a very long way away.
Then I had a light bulb moment - brought on only two weeks ago when I cleverly forgot her birthday but that is another story and anyhow I am now out of traction..
On this increasingly rare occurrence though I spotted an add for something called a Robovac (no - neither had I); a bit of investigation on t’internet and I was convinced that this was the answer to my and many others prayers - never again would I hear the dreaded “no, you can’t go out after foxes until the cleaning is done…”, never again would I have to eat/sleep alone, well maybe not just as often…
So a quick push of a few buttons (not something I am particularly known for) and thanks to something called Prime this life saver was on its way. What could go wrong? Well…. presentationally perhaps referring to it as a (late) birthday present was not my finest hour but hey ho…
Anyhoo in due course it arrived - what a marvel! At the push of a button off Flo (yes she has a name now) sets off and vacuums the entire house; not only that but she returns to her charging station and recharges for the next exciting adventure. The dear thing even links to your Ifone so with something called an app you don’t even need to be in the house to set her in motion - a true miracle of modern technology.
My cunning plan worked a treat chaps - herself loves it, she even walked behind it all round the house the first couple of times - I did try telling her that kinda defeats the purpose but no way would she stop. In truth I have on occasion also err… dogged Flo.
As if my account is not enough to convince you I attach a foto of Lady FB multi-tasking by “doing” the vacuuming whilst lying on the sofa engrossed in her Ifone!
Dyson anyone?
You are welcome!

I opened the post expecting to see some gadget that Vacuum packs your meat :), me and the wife have a good understanding regarding the house work, I know I can't go anywhere until it is done, I suppose its my own daft fault for retiring early and as she says I supposedly have loads of time on my hands

Smart work FB but don't be fooled into thinking a peaceful home will exist for months!
You have but a couple of weeks before the novelty wears off!
It's a shame you gave it a female name brother, had it been a masculine name lady FB may of continued to service , insert her favourite actors name here, but now it'll be you and ridicule will return as it is noted again and again how you lovingly attend to Flo!
You've made the classic mistake and come home with a younger female!! What a mistake to a make 🤦

Sage-like advice Smelly, sadly just a little late….
As regards the naming I had no say in it (shocker). There is now a sisterhood in Chez FB - one that a mere male will never crack.
Apparently the arrival of Flo has further undermined Lady FB’s need for a “man wot does” about the place. I really need to think about this…
Things are getting a bit tense - full moon and all that…..
