Hik micro habrok, are they any good for deer stalking?

yeah they are a great package! Where did you find them for £1129??

So would you not recommend the Habrok but a condor or falcon?
Thanks
Personally I prefer the image from a Condor or Falcon 35mm model, the eye display is smaller, which is not normally a good point when comparing model specification , but the display being magnified on the Habrok HH/HQ , doesn't seem to balance right with the sensor / lens native mag, for my eyes anyway..

If you are talking about the HE25L 4k version they are aimed at stalking and low light, just a look at all there sales info and it's talks about stalking and shows pictures of deer.
If you want to see rabbits and foxes then you will need to step upto the hh35l or hq35l
Hello.

When you say no good for foxes ? Is that because the definition with the 25 isn’t clear enough to tell from a moving fox or moving deer? Is it just a moving blob? I find often sitting things are just a hot blob till they move with my cheaper thermal I currently have.

The thermal does not have good enough definition and the nv doesn’t have a good enough range with the inbuilt IR.
Thermal definition is sufficiently good to identify species if you take into account shape and gait. Granted built in IR is not brilliant but I find it a bonus to have it at all.

Find with the thermal, ID in optical mode (in daylight hours or during the golden hour. if its dark switch to the C50 with a decent IR.

I've not tried it, I'm only going from the hik blurb about them. I'm tempted to try a set but would love to find a demo set to try before splashing the cash

At 500 m not moving the 25L thermal isn't spotless but you can certainly tell whether its a deer, sheep or cow, anything smaller you need to see them move but can then work it out ok

I have stated previously that it is great bit of kit (the 4k) for stalking. I do not believe it is good for foxing for the reasons I mentioned, nor do I wish to use my scope to identify using my rifle scope, which leads further credence to my opinion.

This seems to have been sorted with the new releases, and the, Unfortunately, new price.

By conventional standards, I find the image quality awful ... the daylight image is laggy and grainy... the thermal is all blobby pixels... the native magnification is too low for the digital camera and way too high for the thermal one... in fact, only the digital NV is up to par (and that's quite a low bar) ...
BUT...
The thermal will pick up heat sources hundreds of metres away, and the daylight camera will mostly tell you what they are, and the range finder will tell you how far away they are, and you can do all these things without taking your hands or your eyes off the target.
Additionally, you save weight and free up pockets, and can review a buddy's shot in the binos before checking the strike site, and, and ....
Moreover, I can't see the point of paying 1,000s more for the higher-end models. The HE25L's imaging may be terrible by conventional standards, but for 99% of practical purposes it is entirely sufficient.
By the way, the part of me that loves good optics hates this fact. It's like saying that one of those horrendous smoothies is better than a fine restaurant meal because you don't waste time eating and the nutritional content is better.
If you want to hunt effectively, I think the Habroks are currently unbeatable, but the satisfaction is all in the efficiency they bring. Don't expect them to enhance your joy in the beauty of nature.
