Today, combined wind and solar made a whopping 13% contribution to power gen.
Thank God for fossil fuels or we would be in deep dodo!

So, when these so called green energy suppliers say they are only using renewables do their customers occasionally have no power?
Or is it the purest of poop that one can extract from cattle?

Were waiting on a 400 acre solar farm being built here in the beautiful vale of belvoir. Being built on prime farm land. Wtf were the planners thinking. It so close to us that we might be able to get an extension lead to it. Only when its sunny mind..... Be even better when they change the clocks and it's sunny for another hour!

Just outside my village, there's a similar one planned. Prime farmland gone. IMHO water turbines are better and less intrusive than these or windfarms, with the weather getting wetter, but.....

No barkestone. There doing something at easthorpe tho. It think ferrying all the gear in from there on smaller trucks. There upgrading the supply too I think.
