Hi all..
Can anybody tell me what height picatinny rings I need to fit close to the barrel..
Scope is a sightron stac 4-20x50 ..
Cheers Swaro

I would just buy good quality low rings.
The rail on the lrp looks quite high so you might not get rings low enough to leave the objective close to the barrel.
Your rifle has an adjustable cheekpiece so I wouldn't worry about ring height

Best thing is to set the scope on the rail with some coins to get the height you want. Alan Rhone has a video of this method on you tube.
One ring brands low wont be the same height as another brands low so it's hard to recommend anything without measuring first

OK thanks..
Very likely to be tier one rings..
3 out of my 4 rifles with a picatinny rail on has them on..
All mediums I think..
The other has optilock rings

Remember also, it’s not about getting the closest gal you can, it’s about the scope being at a comfortable height to shoot with. If it’s too low, you won’t mount the rifle straight and will bend your neck.

You could get away with a low mount, but I would go medium.

There are calculators out there to put the ring height and scope size in to give you the gap. Not all 50mm objectives are actually 50mm diameter. The 50mm is the glass size and not the size of the scope itself

Thanks..
That is quite a gap but not out of place with that chunky scope.
Dammit I I've been deliberating on the mk1 or Mk2 and the grey stock has thrown me again 🤯

It’s only around 10-12mm I think. The grey stock shows dirt and grime worse than the black. I’d go black if I had the choice

I gave up on eley subs and winnie subs as the accuracy poor in comparison with eley match and centre x..

They still do the business with better accuracy in my CZ452 varmint
