I gave up on eley subs and winnie subs as the accuracy poor in comparison with eley match and centre x..

They still do the business with better accuracy in my CZ452 varmint

Remember also, it’s not about getting the closest gal you can, it’s about the scope being at a comfortable height to shoot with. If it’s too low, you won’t mount the rifle straight and will bend your neck.

You could get away with a low mount, but I would go medium.

There are calculators out there to put the ring height and scope size in to give you the gap. Not all 50mm objectives are actually 50mm diameter. The 50mm is the glass size and not the size of the scope itself

Any chance you could tell me the make and model of that scope...? That is a seriously sexy beast; I do like 'em a little chunky!

Zc527 mpct2x ret with spuhr mount. I looked through a host of top end scopes before deciding on this. Everytime I use it, I love it.

I went from seeing a target move if I hit it on my old scope, to seeing the paint mark on the target where I’d hit it with this. You really do get what you pay for!

I’m a believer that there a point where you pay more for minimal returns with scopes, but this one is a keeper for sure…l I absolutely love it!

I'm glad to hear it..!!
I'd have a 4k scope on all my rifles if I could..
I'd like to have march majesta's on my f open guns but at the end of the day they do the same at my Vortex golden eagle's which has ED glass and a lifetime warranty..
The majestas gottabe better for double the money.
I have 3 sightrons..
2 x S111 8-32x56 and a 20 mag stac on my 22lr..
I think they're superb value for money.
The illuminated reticle it absolutely brilliant when the lights fading.

I picked up my LRP yesterday..
I'd not thought far ahead and the trigger is quite firm..
Is it adjustable..?
What have you modified your trigger with..?
Yo dave spring kit..
I have a spring kit I used in my CZ452 varmint..
Will these work..?
What triggers have you changed too..?

Trigger is adjustable, just make sure you bump test it before firing life rounds.

Don’t know if 452 trigger spring will be the same but many fit the to Dave kit.

That’s a personal preference. I didn’t get any with mine, it was sold as new but was essentially ex display. I reached out to CZ and explained, they sent me a few in the post
