#1320, Portland90 in Walnut and Superb Leather

One of my last offcuts of James Purdey Walnut in fact, fitted over blue liners.

All else is benchmark P90 spec., SF100 blade steel at 3mm stock, you know the rest.

Hand made, superb quality P90 sheath, through dyed and 'tobacco' in colour, blue stitching to complement the liners, deep fitting, very snug, very secure.

I love walnut, but all the knife handles I've seen so far just don't' show the grain at its best. That is until this one!

It isn't easy to do (and I don't mean that I have done it, I am saying this in defence of everyone that uses such timbers on knife handles), you get a chink of Walnut large enough for a gunstock and there is quite a surface area, then cut it down to this size, where did all that grain go..?!?!
