The search for a good dog name .....................

After very sadly loosing both of our spaniels in the last few months - a cocker and a springer - we have decided to go all-in again this year and have two lovely cocker pup bitches, coming to us,
early in January.
They are both working types, one black , the other red/golden. Being a bloke, I immediately came up with the name 'Smudge' for the red/gold coat, as she had a slight smokey sooty patch over one eye.
I have since been beaten into a corner over this choice by my significant other half, and have been asked to come up with something more appropriate.
The black coat still remains un-named.

We have made lists. several. Well, a lot actually. The cover floral: Petal, Poppy, Daisy, etc. We have covered Nature; Barley, Teasel, Brecken......and human names, which I personally detests for a dog.

As we have the whole of the holidays to come up with something, I was wondering what the SD massive have to offer.
Please keep it clean.

Should have called my lab Dyson - can hear a cocopop hit the floor at 10 yards and goes straight into hoover mode. 😄

Millie and Mable popular girlie names at the park.

My missus has a feline called Mongo, as he doesn’t appear to be firing on all cylinders. Good mouser but steals dog food as I’m loading the mutts’ bowls up. Then appears to be genuinely offended when the dogs object.
