Hello, after a few years of thinking about it i realise i am probably not going to go on a driven boar shoot in europe and this scope, which has lain in my trunk for the last 5 years, should probably go.
It is an immaculate swarovski 1.25-4x24 pv-i ( illuminated) scope. Glass is perfect, the 30mm tube is unmarked and it has the bikini lens cover. The illume works as expected- there’s nothing wrong with it at all.
The reticle is three cross hairs which don’t quite meet, with illuminated dot in the centre. The dot subtends 3” at 100m ( i know: i’m mixing imperial and metric ) and i used to zero it top dead centre of the dot to get <1” grouping- it is possible to be accurate with this reticle. But thats if you want to use it for general stalking. Its forte is closer, running beast shooting as you will know.
I’m not sure about postage yet ie how to send but it will be insured and properly protected etc. and i’ll pay the postage in the sale price.
It’s a lovely, quality scope in excellent condition and zero defects. I would like to upgrade my binos to some pre-loved Swarovskis hence the ad. If you have a pair of 8.5x42 or similar sized swaro binos you don’t use i’d be interested in a swap or some kind of deal.
