Optics warehouse

Maybe not the right section but it seems to fit.
Has anyone used optics warehouse recently? I've been calling to ask them about a thermal. Same story every time, name + number and I'll get back to you later/tomorrow. Another phone call a couple of days later asking, I'll get back to you shortly... Surprisingly, no answer.

Third time? You guessed it. Their customer service seems to have really dropped off this last time dealing with them and I'm not sure whether it's new staff, can't be arsed or just extremely busy. I'm trying to spend my hard earned to near the 2k mark and frankly, false promises is starting to irritate me.

Anyone got anything positive about them RECENTLY before I sod it off and go somewhere else? I've used them countless times and never any issues but this time is leaving quite a sour taste.
Emailed a couple of months ago and received a response a couple weeks later, already bought elsewhere.

Ordered a bunch of stuff 2 weeks ago and received it 2 days later.

I no longer buy from them. They had a pre owned thermal scope up for 3k. I had the same scope with an additional lrf. My scope was mint with everything and was only a year old. They offered me 850.00 when I replied outlining they were selling the same for 3k I got no reply. For me it was pure greed. I totally understand that firms have overheads and need to make money but that price was an insult. I sold the scope for twice as much as they offered. I had previously purchased a fair bit of kit of them that has now stopped.

I've only ever had top rate customer service from OPW, one of the best in this regard & not just in terms of shooting world. I like to deal with George or Lloyd (since James left). Always up for a haggle too which I enjoy.

I deal with OPW both personally and professionally, and I have only very good things to say about them and their team.
Personally, they give good prices and ship quickly with good packaging. Professionally, they negotiate hard on prices, but pay up front immediately.
I’m not surprised they are successful. Shaun, Lloyd, etc, good guys 👌

Jeff8861, try trading in a car that you bought new 12 months ago. and see what you're offered............it's called "capitalism".......

Bought plenty of cars over the years and understand depreciation. However there offer was an insult.
