bought my last cf used Sako 85 in 308 no faults. Am I asking for truble looking at used 270?
Av seen a used Sako 75 but it’s not threadedI bought a used Sako 75 in .270 with walnut stock 3 years ago. It had done very little work and shoots very well. I had it screwcut and will keep it until I am too old to go stalking any more. It's ideal as an allrounder that is easy to feed with factory ammo that you can buy in almost any gun shop in the country. There are still 75s in 270 which were taken to Scotland once a year and kept in the cabinet the rest of the time so they have never done much work and are in good condition.
Never herd of themAlso look at husqvarna for older quality 270 with little use
No one here has which is why they are cheap when they come up. Very high quality blue and steel rifles. AKA Carl GustavNever herd of them
don’t look bad just found it. Myt drop them a messageIvythorn sporting had a sako 85 in .270 for sale apparently in good nick
What you think to laminated stocks? He’s very honest and not pushy, I was tempted but bought a .260 again
Good thing about Ivythorn is he has a range so you can probably shoot itdon’t look bad just found it. Myt drop them a message![]()
Yeh good thing just long way to go.Good thing about Ivythorn is he has a range so you can probably shoot it
If the seller will let you borsecope it as condition of sale then absolutely.
I understand your concern, quite often used by highland lads doing ‘a few’ deer a year in difficult conditions, you are less likely to find a cabinet queen as oppose to, say….a creedmore!!!
