Is there such a thing of good used tikka sako 270 or am I best buying new.

I bought a used Sako 75 in .270 with walnut stock 3 years ago. It had done very little work and shoots very well. I had it screwcut and will keep it until I am too old to go stalking any more. It's ideal as an allrounder that is easy to feed with factory ammo that you can buy in almost any gun shop in the country. There are still 75s in 270 which were taken to Scotland once a year and kept in the cabinet the rest of the time so they have never done much work and are in good condition.

Av seen a used Sako 75 but it’s not threaded

I bought a 6.5 x 55 Sako 85 finnlite from Ivythorn last year shoots spot on.
I’ve just bought another 85 with laminate stock but not shot it yet looks good though

If the seller will let you borsecope it as condition of sale then absolutely.

I understand your concern, quite often used by highland lads doing ‘a few’ deer a year in difficult conditions, you are less likely to find a cabinet queen as oppose to, say….a creedmore 🫢!!!
