When you see Peter Eaton giving a thumbs up, then you know that something is right.

The knife-maker Piotr Bialy is going through that lengthy process of building a reputation and it takes time. The prices of his knives might look a little steep for a relative newcomer to the scene and maybe they are. Personally I think the knives are top drawer but it will take a number of knives, out there in the field, day in day out, before Piotr gains the reputation that he deserves.

All I can say is that one of his knives is out there, generally three days a week, every week, doing a fantastic job. I wish Piotr all the best on his journey.

@Peter Eaton just trying to be kind for my knives 😂
Yes, you touched important thing in this buissnes, a reputation, mine doesn't exist.
Prices are very low for products made from this materials, I would like to see a prices of known maker for a knife made from similar materials.
Let's say a steel billet 300x50 from aebl
, sf100 or 14c28n cost roughly 20 pounds(if you gonna buy a whole sheet it's probably 3 pounds per a knife) a billet of a steel you see above or most laminated in stainless damast cost £250-300, a steel you using on a trial knife cost 150 for a size 250x30.
My reputation, if ever happens, will make them expensive, so thank you very much for your review, kind words and a wishes, let's make "a reputation" happen 😁
So far, I'm planning to keep doing knives for fun and from this place wish to all makers, with or without a reputation, many customers and fair pay for their efforts.

It is interesting Piotr, many of the materials that you are using are new to me and not commonly seen. Likewise, your handles and method of construction.

Keep up the good work
