Afternoon

So I have the above, bought last summer, I find that the hoist has a tendency to tilt off to the side the carcass is on when moving it up and into the tub sat on the tailgate.
Seems to be a bit of play either side of the guide forks that go underneath the tow bar .
Have emailed explaining this and been told weld this to that etc etc .
Anyone else had this issue ?
Have video of it moving around but doesn’t seem like I can load it up here ?
Thanks .

It looks like it would have to be a loose fit as it enters higher up the ball hitch where it has a larger diameter neck. Seems to me to be a bad way to avoid twisting as it is so close to the ball hitch.
Try some extending legs like splayed out at 45 degrees made with bent tube welded onto the green bit above and behind the "V" hitch to be nipped up with some bent threaded rod in 2x welded onto the tube nuts 1 on each side and working like extendable ski poles with two solid legs of the ID of the tube that are sliding up/down inside the tubes to accommodate for ground undulations would be a better solution, put a flat steel plate welded on the solid leg or a bit of wood under the leg..

You will need a media platform to load it up on sd. Youtube

I had an exact same issue which is fixed after shipping back all those parts together.
Give them a call, explain the situation and you need to send those parts back to Stretton have it modified according to the exact dimensions on your tow bar’s ball hitch.

Credit where credit is due, Mark has been back in touch saying will do whatever it takes to rectify the situation after being able to watch the video.
Sent him a load of detailed pictures of the ball hitch using calibers to show measurements ( 2017 Hilux )
Will get the parts off to him in the week .
